Every mode carries its own math
SCUBA and surface-supplied air. No-decompression limits, repetitive groups, and residual nitrogen from the verified air tables; live in-water recompute when a dive runs long; ascent-delay handling and an omitted-decompression recovery planner, all per the manual's rules.

Two gas modes. Surface-supplied air rides the same verified air tables as SCUBA and is not bound by the SCUBA depth limit. Surface-supplied helium-oxygen runs on its own Table 12-4 decompression engine.
Built under a hard grounding rule. The author is not surface-supplied qualified, so nothing was written from recall: every checklist, signal, and schedule traces to the Navy Diving Manual.
Verification you can audit. Table 12-4 was extracted from the manual by two independent methods and cross-checked; the cross-check caught real deep-schedule errors before release. Schedules that fail verification are withheld.
Rig-correct checklists. Loadout and pre-dive checks rebuilt from Chapter 8: rig, gas supply, umbilical, communications, and station, with dress-in, gas, comms, and entry procedures.
Correct comms doctrine. Voice is primary, line-pull signals per Table 8-2 as backup, and divers are individually tended, no cross-diver coupling.

Running the side: station, gas, and the way home
Surface-supplied station card. The in-water screen swaps the rebreather panel for what this side actually watches: primary and secondary gas, emergency gas supply, umbilical status, communications state, and standby, with per-diver pneumofathometer depth entry.
Emergency gas supply calculator. The come-home bottle computed per the manual's formula and checked against the manual's own worked example.
Surface decompression using oxygen, end to end. In-water stops, the timed transfer window to the chamber, pressurization to 40 feet, and the oxygen periods, computed for air profiles and shown as a workflow card, not a paragraph.
Casualty procedures for this rig. Loss of gas, loss of communications, fouled umbilical, helmet or dress damage, and a falling diver, reachable from the station card.

Run Watches is practice mode. A dry-run dive in real time: the supervisor tracks descent and ascent, jumps past dead waits, and drives every mark. Nothing writes to the logs.
A scripted casualty deck, graded level 1 through 4: caustic cocktail, rig malfunction with hypoxia, arterial gas embolism on fast ascent, trapped diver, lost diver, delays deeper than 50 feet on decompression dives.
